Me and the Bible

My newest task I’ve undertaken has been I just finished reading my father’s copy of the Book of Genesis (he’s a recovering Catholic), and as someone who was never exposed to any religious allusion of any sort in my life, the fact that it is so well-developed is mind-blowing. It’s like one giant retarded fandom.

Now, I’ve always been agnostic (my mom’s presbyterian, dad’s agnostic), and I understand how your view going in affects the view overall, but it seems like a pretty broad-spectrum just-behave long and winded warning of insolent bastard children. Then again, look what happened to Judas.

See, now when people make religious references like this, I know what they mean!
